Imagine me without you

November 21, 2007

Imagine me without you

As long as stars shine down from heaven
And the rivers run into the sea
Til the end of time forever
You’re the only love I’ll need

In my life you’re all that matters
In my eyes the only truth I see
When my hopes and dreams have shattered
You’re the one that’s there for me

When I found you I was blessed
And I will never leave you, I need you

Chorus:
Imagine me without you
I’d be lost and so confused
I wouldn’t last a day, I’d be afraid
Without you there to see me through

Imagine me without you
Lord, you know it’s just impossible
Because of you, it’s all brand new
My life is now worthwhile

I can’t imagine me without you

When you caught me I was falling
You’re love lifted me back on my feet
It was like you heard me calling
And you rush to set me free

When I found you I was blessed
And I will never leave you, I need you

Chorus

When I found you I was blessed
And I will never leave you, I need you oh

Chorus

I can’t imagine me without you

Everything in its time

Everything in its time (Corrinne May)

Sometimes i wonder what lies ahead
How long til my hunger is fed
They say it’s hard to make it in this part of town
so many people on this merry-go-round

Some folks try astrology
Some turn to crystal balls
To find an answer
To get through it all
I just fall on my knees and i try to pray
in the silence i can hear Him say

The river runs and the river hides
Out to the ocean and under the sky
I promise you, the answer will come
Hold on to patience and watch for the sign
Everything in its time

I often feel like that i’m two steps behind
Somebody must have moved that finish line
There are a thousand reasons
why i should give up
But i’m stubborn in the things i believe

The river runs and the river hides
Out to the ocean and under the sky
I promise you, the answer will come
Hold on to the patience and watch for the sign

‘cause maybe there’s another plan
One i still cant see
A little surprise, like your love in your life
Funny how time changes how we see

The river runs and the river hides
Out to the ocean and under the sky
I promise you, the answer will come
Hold on to the patience and watch for the sign
Everything in its time
Everything in its time

La La lalala (to pull strings)

(Writing this while having my online group discussion..haha..it’s nice to muti-task sometimes)

~I’ve always this belief or conception that string instruments sound irritating. But I just went for a concert by the T’ang Quartet with the Conservatory orchestra. And I just fell in love with the strings…one minute they sound so alive..and the next..so sad! haha..sorry if you don’t get me :P But just to let you know…if played well, violins are not irritating :) in fact, they can sometimes put me to sleep ZzzzZzzzzzz
